- Florida State University - Collegiate Kiteboarding and Kitesurfing Club
Welcome to the Florida State University Kite boarding Association! We are the first established college kiteboarding club in the nation. Made up of students that attend FSU who actively participate and contribute to kite surfing Florida. This Florida State kiteboarding club was founded in 2002, and has been growing steadily ever since. Dues for members are 100 dollars per semester if you are new, $75 if you are a returning kiteboarding club member. Subtract $25 if you own your own gear. These dues are a vital lifeline to our kite surf club events, kiteboarding gear and Florida kiteboarding trips.
As a college kite club we go to the beach every week! Our main beach is Alligator Point, or Bald Point; which is a 45 minute drive South from Tallahassee. We also make weekend trips to destinations to kite Jacksonville, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Key West, Jupiter, Daytona, Ft, Lauderdale and others. We kiteboard and kite surf all over Florida as well as different kite spots accross the nation and world. As a collegiate kiteboarding association we have an assortment of kitesurfing equipment and gear for the use of fsu kiteboarding club members only. If you are interested in collegiate kiteboarding, then check out our kite boarding club and come to Florida State University!
