Welcome to the Florida State University Kiteboard Association! We are a college club made up of students that attend FSU who kiteboard, or are looking to learn the extreme sport of kiteboarding. The club was founded in 2002, and has been growing steadily ever since. We welcome anyone who is interested in trying the sport, and those who already know how to ride. The club owns 13 kites and 6 boards that are readily available to any member of the association. Dues for members are 100 dollars per semester. This gives the member access to any of the gear, and instruction.
As a club we go to the beach every week. Our main beach is Alligator Point, or Bald Point; which is a 45 minute drive South from Tallahassee. We also make weekend trips to destinations like Jacksonville, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Key West, Jupiter, Daytona, and others.
This year we have begun to compete in college kiteboarding circuit. We have been to several competitions so far. The final competition is scheduled to be in Key West over Spring Break! Show your support for our club and come out to out weekly meetings!

News!
We are away on Christmas break. We will resume our regualar meetings at the beginning of the Spring semester '09. Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors. Good luck to Paul Sheetz, Cam Cornish, Chris Decle, and Derek Safko. They were an intrical part to the club's success for the last four years.
This past semester we competed in several CKA events all over Florida. FSU showed its dominance in Jacksonville and in St. Pete. With a heightened amount of participation from other schools, the CKA is really beginning to take off. The first scheduled event for the new year is January 10th/11th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
With a new inventory of Kites, Boards, harnesses, and bars; most of which has been donated by our great supporters, we now have a large supply of excellent gear! If you pay your dues, you can have access to as well.
